NYC

今年の冬に、2ヶ月間アメリカのニュージャージー州に行っていました。
ニュージャージーは、ニューヨークに近かったので、毎週ニューヨークに遊びに行っていました。

本当に楽しかった。
初めてタイムズスクエアに降り立った時の、感動。
全部の建物が大きくて、イルミネーションでキラキラしていて。
まさに想像していたニューヨーク。

でも私は、キラキラしているマンハッタンより落ち着いた雰囲気のお洒落感漂う空気が
流れる街が好きになった。
中でもお気に入りの場所は、チェルシーマーケットとグリニッジビレッジ。
チェルシーマーケットは、おいしい食べ物がたくさん。
建物は古く、でも中に入っているお店は新しく、それがすごく調和していてとても好きな雰囲気。
休日は、家族連れも多く、賑わっていた。
一方、グリニッジビレッジは本当に落ち着いた街、という印象がある。
犬と散歩をしている人、コーヒー片手に歩いている人、カフェ外のベンチで読書をしている人。
そんな姿でさえお洒落に見えた。

ニューヨーク・・
いつまでいても飽きることのない街な気がした。



    I've been to New Jersey for 2 months last winter. I was going out to New York City every weekend.

    It was so exciting. I was really impressed when I arrived Times Sq. at the first time. Every buildings were big and the illumination was shining brightly. It was exactly same that I imaged before I went there.
    However, I liked a town in Manhattan where the quiet atmosphere and fashionable air flow. Two of my favorite areas in Manhattan were Chelsea Market and Greenwich Village. There were a lot of delicious food in Chelsea Market. The building was old, but the shops in  the building were new. That was wonderful, was harmonized and was my favorite atmosphere. On the weekend,  there were bustling with many people. On the other hand, Greenwich Village was really calm area, I thought. There were people who walking with his/her dog, taking a walk with a cup of coffee, and reading a book, sitting on the bench out of a cafe there. Even these seen looked stylish.

    New York City...
Even whenever I was here, I thought it's the town I don't have to get tired.
